"Lagoon... It's what fun is!" My parents took the girls, Chris, and I to Lagoon for Labor Day. It was the perfect day to go. Not too hot and not too crowded. Just a day full of fantastic memories!
This was the first ride Monroe went on. And as you can tell by her face she didn't know whether to laugh or cry... But at the end of the first ride she was laughing with her Nana and did not want to get off!!
Kennidee and Belle had a great time! They went on ride after ride. I was surprised when they went on some "big kid" rides and wanted even more!
This was by far Monroe's favorite ride! She kept looking over at her Papa saying "I havin fun!"
So Chris and I had the idea to take the girls camping this summer. I have never taken them so we decided to give it a test run by putting a tent in the back yard. We had BBQ hotdogs, smores, and alot of fun! They thought it was so cool to bring their inside stuff outside! Although we didn't end up finding the time to go camping in a tent for real, we did go to our family cabin with Nana and Papa and had even more fun!
This year we stayed home and did fireworks at our house in our court with some neighbors. The girls had a blast hanging out with their friends past dark and past bedtime!
Monroe burnt her hand while playing with sparklers by grabbing the wrong end of the stick. After mom kissed it better she was good to go again!
Monroe was so excited for the fireworks on the Fourth of July! She basically had this face the entire night!
Kennidee turned 6 years old on July 4th! We had a MAJOR pool party at my parent's house with lots of food, family, and friends! Not to mention a bounce house, 2 pinatas, bubble machine, huge blow up slide, and 4 birthday cakes!! SPOILED!
Kennidee opening her birthday presents with her cousin Belle who turned 8 years old the day before. Needless to say that was their favorite part of the day :)
