I have to say this is one of my favorite seasons of the year (it's a toss up between Halloween time and Christmas time). A few days ago Chris and I took the girls to do one of our favorite family Fall activities... The Pumpkin Patch!! I honestly love to just walk around, take my time and look at all of the different pumpkins. It seems that there are no two the same. I also love watching which pumpkin each of us will choose because I believe it shows off our different personalities in some sort of way. Chris and I chose a big, round/oval, deep orange pumpkin that caught his eye. Kennidee of course chose the "Cinderella" looking pumpkin... perfectly round, perfectly orange, and perfectly her size. I can't even tell you how many pumpkins she would look at, pick up, and put back because, "It's not the perfect pumpkin Mom!". Monroe showed off her personality by chosing every single pumpkin she saw and then tried to carry them all by herself. That was super cute to watch! She ended up settling with a pumpkin that is very oval, orange on one side, yellow and completely caved in on the other! Not my first choice but she loved it! And of course we had to get our new baby girl a pumpkin too... hers is very small, bright orange, with a cute little stem out the top! They now sit on our porch waiting to be carved. It was a very fun and memorable family day!!
