Summer's End

To end the summer we went out in style... My Grandparents own a cabin in Oakley. I have to say that it is by far one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever been. There is nothing like getting away from TV, phones, computers, the daily norm. and just going up to the cabin to enjoy the sounds of the trees, the streams, the birds, the QUIET. It was amazing! Just what we needed!
We had a bunch of fun riding the four wheelers (All of the kids wore helmets while riding, just not in pics)! There are so many places to see. One of my favorite places to ride by is this hidden bathtub, yes a bathtub, that fills up with water so the animals can come and drink out of it.

On Chris and Monroe's ride they stopped to pick me some wild flowers! So sweet :)

I adore horses so it makes me super happy that my girls love them as well. This was their favorite part.. Just feeding the horses some grass.

I love this picture! It's beautiful to see the girls being so soft with the horses. Not to mention the horses and scenery are breath taking too.

LAGOON TRADITION! Every summer my parents take our family to Lagoon. This year was even better then last simply because I was not pregnant and I was able to enjoy my baby and the rides with everyone!

Although Scarlett couldn't ride any of the rides she did not miss out on any of the fun. She was perfectly happy just trying on every body's sunglasses!

This was a ride I did not want to get on because I don't enjoy the water rides. Kenni said she really wanted me to go on this with her and then batted her baby blue eyes! I was sold!! I got hit pretty good in the face a couple of times with water and was laughing so hard that it honestly was one of my favorite rides of the day! Thanks Kenni for helping me step out of my box :)

Family picture (Allen was taking the picture)!

Here we are at the first ride of the day. As you can see Monroe was very annoyed that we would even stop to take a picture when the dragon ride waiting for her! She cracks me up :)
Thanks Mom and Allen for keeping the tradition alive!!
