Glitter Toes and "Happiness is..."

"Happiness Is...Being In First Grade" Lastnight was Kennidee's first grade program.
She sang her little heart out! It was a very proud and "real" moment for me as a mom as I sat and watched her. I honestly had to sit back and think about how we got to where we are today, and how special this little beauty is to me! I'm not going to say that time has always just flown bye because to be honest there have been moments where it simply hasn't. Such as when she was born and would NOT stop crying for 4 months due to colic, or when she was potty training, or when we were going through some hard times as a family. But I can and will say that lately time has seemed to be going bye a bit faster. I can't believe how she is in first grade and eating school lunch. Or how grown up she acts when helping out with her little sister. Or how good she is getting at making her own bed. I am so happy to be her mommy. This little girl is my lifesaver. She has been my constant and my motivation to be better. I love her so much!

At Kennidee's first grade program Monroe wasn't the happiest camper... as you can see. I was a little worried that she was going to start screaming and crying but actually it went the way I hoped it would! She was very quiet and ultimately ended up falling asleep on her "Papa's" lap. It was so nice to just enjoy the program!

A few days ago the cutest girl in the world, my cousin Chandell came over and did "glitter toes" on Kennidee, myself, my mom, and my aunt Dolly. It was so much fun picking out colors, chatting, and having some well needed girl time! Kennidee felt like such a big girl sitting there talking to Chandell AKA Sissy. All of our toes turned out amazing! Thanks Bug for doing our toes! We love you!!
