My 24th birthday was a few days ago. Every year on my birthday we have always had some really fun family tradtions that I look forward to all year long.
Starting with going to a tree lot and picking out the perfect christmas tree. I love the way the trees smell and I love the crisp holiday air! Although this year seemed colder then ever! After we have picked out just the right tree we take it back to my moms house and decorate it.
After that is done we eat some of the most amazing food that my step dad makes. Then I open my presents of course!
Then the fun really begins with popcorn ball making. We have been making popcorn balls on my birthday sense I was a baby. I have tried other popcorn balls in my time and none compare to my Grandmama's secret family recipe!!
Everyone helps put their special touch on each popcorn ball and they always turn out so yummy!
Even Monroe helps :) After that is over we have cupcakes and sing Happy Birthday! I have to say that this was one of the best years yet!
